On Track Education in Wisbech is a small, not for profit, independent special school for 24 pupils aged 11 to 18 with behavioural, emotional, social and mental health difficulties. The school opened 14 years ago and pupils are taught in very small groups, or 1:1, with a high staff support ratio. In the most recent Ofsted inspection (December 2018) our school was judged as ‘Good’ in all categories.
We support our pupils to fulfil their potential by giving them unconditional support, providing them with good quality teaching and empowering them to effectively manage their own behaviour.
We are interested to hear from qualified teachers with a subject specialism in English, Maths, Science, Humanities or Citizenship
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
- Work with the Curriculum Lead to deliver a curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
- Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions
- Support all pupils to become confident, self-assured learners

Salary £22,560 to £32,230 dependent on qualifications and experience
