On Track Education in Totnes is an independent day special school which opened in November 2005.  The school provides education for up to 48 pupils aged 7-19 who have a range of special educational needs.  We use the Thrive approach to develop healthy, happy, confident children who are ready and open to learning. The main school site is in Totnes with additional satellite facilities available to ensure the school can offer an extensive range of opportunities for all pupils.

This is a new role within the school to join the existing Head Teacher and an established team.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced and committed professional to join a group of compassionate professionals who provide high quality education to all pupils. 

Main Purpose:

• To assist the Head Teacher in developing and leading the school to an outstanding Ofsted judgement.
• To work alongside the Head Teacher to ensure that all Independent School Standards are met
• To ensure the school effectively safeguards each pupil
• To provide unconditional care, nurture and support for each pupil.

 Salary £36,300 - £46,055 dependent on qualifications and experience
