Safeguarding and child protection is everyone’s responsibility!
The NSPCC – What is Safeguarding?
- Protecting children from abuse and maltreatment
- Preventing harm to children’s health or development
- Ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care
- Taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best outcomes.
The school plays a crucial role in preventative education. This is in the context of a whole-school approach to preparing pupils for life in modern Britain and a culture of zero tolerance towards sexism, misogyny, misandry, homophobia, biphobia and sexual violence and harassment.
