About Our School
Our school site is a single storey building on a light industrial estate on the outskirts of the town. There are nine classrooms, including a kitchen, two vocational workshops and an astro turf sports enclosure.
On Track Wisbech school is an independent DFE registered, co-educational day school providing specialist education for students aged 11-16. We offer boys and girls with a range of special educational needs and diagnosis of communication difficulties, challenging behaviour, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and more complex needs, an opportunity to flourish in a more bespoke and individualised environment.
Alongside a personalised curriculum, students will have the benefit of an experienced and knowledgeable staff team who are able to deliver a therapeutic and holistic educational experience. We always strive to enable students to reach their personal best and to focus toward a successful future.
Each student’s needs are met through a careful and precise assessment process, a comprehensive intervention programme and continual tracking of progress and achievement. As specialist professionals we aim to ensure that every personalised programme combines the best of therapeutic intervention with a curriculum that truly reflects each student’s needs and interest and equips them to play a full part in life and work. This innovative, broad and balanced On Track ethos helps us provide an education based on individual student’s requirements, creates a passion for learning and a focus on employability skills. These personalised programmes aim to restore young people’s self-confidence, self-esteem, self-control and self-motivation through a flexible, personalised and needs-led programme with absolute care, nurture and support.
