Safeguarding

Keeping our students safe is the most important part of our job. We have a highly-trained staff team who understand the safeguarding risks that our young people face. We are aware that some young people make choices that put them at risk, and we work proactively with our students, their families and other agencies to help them avoid putting themselves into unsafe situations. Details of the safeguarding team can be found in the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy on the policies page.

OFSTED September 2022:

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Leaders have planned a curriculum that prioritises teaching pupils about the risks they face and how to keep themselves safe. There is significant emphasis on online safety as many pupils enjoy gaming. Staff receive regular training. Staff are quick to spot when there may be a problem, and they work with other agencies to ensure families receive the support they need
