our vision & ethos
At On Track Education Mildenhall, we place each young person at the heart of everything we do. Our experienced and committed staff work closely with pupils to provide personalised academic and pastoral support, helping every student feel safe, supported, and able to achieve their potential.
British Values & Equality
At On Track Education Mildenhall, we are committed to creating an inclusive school community where every pupil is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect. The principles of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect for those with different beliefs are reflected in everyday school life.
These values are woven into learning, behaviour expectations, and pastoral support, helping pupils develop empathy, responsibility, and an understanding of their role within the wider community. Pupils are encouraged to share their views, make positive choices, and understand the importance of equality and respect for others.
By promoting these values consistently, we support young people to grow into confident, responsible individuals who feel safe, valued, and prepared for life beyond school.
If you would like more information about how we promote British values, please contact the school and speak with a member of our PSHE team.
Ofsted
In March 2023, On Track Education Mildenhall was judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
The inspection highlighted that pupils are supported to “get back ‘on track’ with their education”, with dedicated staff making a significant difference to their lives. Many pupils begin to attend regularly and engage more fully with learning than they have previously.
Inspectors also noted that pupils benefit from strong relationships with adults, feel safe, and learn in a calm, accepting environment where they can develop both socially and academically. Where appropriate, pupils access a bespoke curriculum that prepares them well for qualifications and future pathways.
Ofsted recognised the school’s high expectations and the progress pupils make from their starting points, with a focus on building confidence, behaviour, and positive attitudes to learning.

Staff and Pupils are very proud to support a number of charities, including Children in Need, Breast Cancer Awareness and Comic Relief.
