On Track Northampton Students Enjoy Inspiring London Trip

Students from On Track Northampton enjoyed an exciting and enriching visit to London this week. The day began at the Natural History Museum, where the festive Christmas T-Rex created plenty of excitement and set the tone for a memorable trip.

The group then headed to the Apollo Theatre to watch the award-winning musical Wicked. Because students had already explored the themes of the show in class, they were able to connect closely with its powerful message about friendship, identity and standing up for what’s right. The production’s dramatic staging, music and storytelling left pupils full of creative ideas to bring back into PSHE, English and Art.

We are particularly proud of our Year 11 Travel and Tourism students, who took responsibility for planning and preparing the visit. Their organisation and support ensured the day ran smoothly and showed fantastic leadership in action.

The trip provided an inspiring cultural experience, offering students both unforgettable memories and meaningful learning to apply across a range of subjects.
